Prize: $300 USD

An update to our entrants,

We want to sincerely thank the incredible amount of support and feedback that we’ve received regarding our Collective, the ‘Name Us!’ Contest, and our plans for our initiatives as a whole. Based on our community’s feedback we have decided to reformat the ‘Name Us!’ Contest to solely a logo contest. We have chosen a name for our new youth initiative - Spring Tide Project - submitted by Sky Coombs! Thank you Sky!

We recognize that some individuals may have been planning on submitting other name and logo concepts in the coming weeks for the original deadline of the ‘Name Us!’ contest. If this applies to you, please email us at info@groundswellclimatecolllective.com and we will would be happy to consider your submission for additional youth initiatives in the future! The original contest rules and prizes would apply. Please email us at info@groundswellclimatecollective.com with your alternate entry if this is the case.

We look forward to your logo entries for the Spring Tide Project!

Best,

The Groundswell Collective team

What We’re Doing:

The Spring Tide Project will be a virtual community for youth to come together and share the impacts of the climate crisis on their lives, as well as their creative visions for solutions and possible futures. We aim to foster resiliency in the face of the climate crisis and shift our language to highlight the positive possibilities of these futures. Through the Spring Tide Project, We are building a series of online initiatives for youth, where we will be prompting participants to respond to questions, create artwork, and envision what the world would look like in the next 30 years. Examples of said initiatives might include art contests, calls for submissions, publications and more.

This logo contest for the Spring Tide Project is an important step to this future community - with an inspiring logo, we hope to connect with a wide scope of youth to share their visions, build a dialogue, and uplift their voices.
